Back-to-School Night - Wed, 9/9

HALF DAY - 1pm Dismissal

(Note: This half day is NOT on the district calendar as it is unique to Seth Boyden)

Free Babysitting for K-5 Children (Must sign up in advance!)

Babysitting is available for families who need childcare in order to attend.

Because space is limited, please only reserve a spot if you plan to use the service.

Sign-up closes Tuesday, 9/8 at 10am. We cannot accept additional children after the

deadline or once we reach capacity, whichever comes first.

Worried about dinner? Wheelhouse will be offering sandwiches available for

pre-order and pick-up outside the school

before Back to School Night begins. Students are welcome

to bring inside to enjoy during babysitting.

Lunch

Students have the option to bring lunch from home or buy meals with a PaySchool

account. Please read about and set up a lunch account here.

Free and Reduced Lunch applications are available for families experiencing financial hardship. The application and process for Free and Reduced Lunch can be found here.

Picture Day - Mon, 9/14 and Tues, 9/15

Once the class schedules are finalized, you will receive more information from your classroom teacher.

The school also needs volunteers for the day. Take advantage of being present on one of the sweetest days of the year by signing up for one of these jobs:

Picture Day Wrangler — helps move classes in/out and makes sure kids are picture-ready.
Staff Liaison — keeps track of staff photos and makes sure everyone who needs a photo gets one.

Please join us on Saturday 9/19 at 10am in the Seth Boyden backyard for the first general PTA meeting of the year! Come and learn more about different PTA initiatives, ask questions, receive updates on what’s coming up, and connect with other SB families.
