Our PTA
The PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) is a group of parents, caregivers, and school staff working together to support and enrich our school community.
Whether you have a little or a lot of time, there’s a spot for you!
There are three main ways to get involved:
1. General Membership
Everyone is welcome! Join by paying annual membership dues. Get a voice and a vote at PTA meetings Stay informed and show your support for our school.
*All Elected Officers and Committee Chair positions require an annual membership.
2. Board of Directors
Help shape what the PTA does! Includes all elected Officers, Committee Chairs, and Members at Large.
Committees include, but not limited to:
Communications Committee, Community Events Committee, Cultural Arts Committee, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, Fifth Grade Committee, Fundraising Committee, Green Team Committee, Happiness Committee, Membership Committee, Outdoor Learning Center Committee, Yearbook Committee.
A Member at Large has no specific role, just joins in decision-making and stays actively involved where and when they are needed.
The Board meets regularly to: Approve event and committee plans, Decide how to spend the PTA budget and Keep the PTA running smoothly between general meetings.
3. Officers, i.e. Executive Board
Lead the PTA! Include elected roles: President, Vice President(s), Secretary, Treasurer. Handle day-to-day leadership, planning, and coordination of PTA activities.
Executive Board roles are elected towards the end of the school year.
Reach out to Nikki Hill if you have interest in running in 2026/27.
